Registration is now open for our second Learn, Lunch & Laugh program in Cleveland, “Let’s Talk about Early Childhood Development”. At this session, Dr. Irene Dietz, Developmental Pediatrician and Director of Comprehensive Care at MetroHealth, will discuss early child development through age 5. In this presentation, she will touch on developmental milestones, developmental delays common in children with spina bifida, and developmentally-appropriate activities families can use to encourage development and increase independence.
We will meet at Pond Pavilion at Lake Metroparks Farmpark on Sunday, June 24th from 10:30 am – 1:00 pm. Children will explore the farm and participate in an animal program with volunteers, while parents gather in the Pond Pavilion for the presentation. Afterward, everyone will join together for a simple lunch.
