Walk & Roll 2018

Walk & Roll 2018
What a fantastic day we had on Saturday to celebrate people living with spina bifida in Greater Cincinnati! The positive energy was visible in the myriad of smiles and warm, friendly greetings of those who participated. As always, we are humbled by the hundreds of people who come together to honor their family member, friend, coworker, or neighbor by walking and rolling for spina bifida. Executive Director, Rhonda Morrison, and Dave and Judy Albert, the Walk co-chairs, are hard at work today processing the donations made on the day of the event. When this is complete, we will announce our team winners.
We are so grateful to all who came out to walk with us this year and to those who donated to their favorite team. The many Facebook posts we saw over the weekend from family members sharing their own photos from the Walk give insight into the excitement of the day. Sarah Flach, from Thomas’s Troop, sums it up in her post, “This day!! ♥️ This kid!! ♥️ These people!!♥️ Perfection. Thanks to all who walked, donated, supported, loved and rolled with us through this year’s event.”
This wonderful day could not take place without the financial backing of our sponsors and hard work of many volunteers, including our Walk Committee. A big thank you goes to the Greater Cincinnati Radio Control Club for being our “Visionary” sponsor this year. Other sponsors include dunnhumby, Neyer Properties, Viox Services, Motion Industries, Kahny Printing, AtoZ Wear, Skyline, JTM, ECHO, Truepointe Wealth Counsel, St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Harrigan Heating & Refrigeration, Away with Geese, Karen and Ivan Silverman, UBS, Kroger, Dunkin’ Donuts, Servati’s, and several anonymous sponsors.
A first round of photos have been uploaded to our SBCC Facebook page. Click here to view the album and tag yourself and share away! More photos from additional photographers will be added as they come in, so check back in coming weeks.
